Training for Educators
Now more than ever, the needs of students are increasing in districts and private schools/agencies nation-wide. At Positive Progress Psychology, we are committed to life-long learning and enhancing the skills of fellow educators. Ongoing training is essential for teachers and school staff to stay updated on the latest educational practices, and issues that impact their students. Trainings can include workshops, seminars, and/or lectures that are completely customized to meet each schools'/agencies' needs. During trainings, participants are encouraged to engage, share insights with their peers, and foster a positive learning environment. The purpose of all of Positive Progress Psychology's trainings are to help educators enhance their knowledge, improve effectiveness, and increase their confidence to ultimately benefit their students' learning experiences.

Examples of some of the trainings that can be provided include school crisis prevention and intervention, classroom/behavior management strategies, overview of youth mental health challenges, education on specific diagnoses, psychological/educational test administration and interpretation, how to write Individualized Education Program(s)/goals, conducting and creating Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans, data collection techniques, and more.
