Skills Training
Individual and group skills training sessions provide a structured setting to help individuals develop specific abilities to help them reach their full potential. We tailor our approaches to varying levels, making sessions accessible and beneficial for everyone to grow at their pace. Individuals will learn new skills, and build upon previously learned strategies. Sessions focus on practical real-world learning experiences that are individualized to each participant/group.

Skills training sessions are offered for neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals who are motivated to learn and grow. Each group is carefully designed to include individuals with similar abilities and goals.

Executive Functioning (EF) Skills
Executive functioning skills are cognitive processes that help individuals manage their thoughts, actions, and emotions. This includes time management, planning, organization, and self-regulation. These skills are essential for problem-solving, decision-making, and success across all aspects of life. Strong executive functioning skills enable individuals to stay focused, keep track of and prioritize tasks, adapt to changing circumstances, and meet the demands of their personal and professional (or school) environments. Each training session is adjusted to target the specific goals of participants.
Dating Skills
Everyone is deserving of love and forming meaningful, fulfilling relationships... but finding love is hard! We are here to help! Dating skills sessions focus on enhancing participants' abilities to effectively build romantic relationships. Specific skills include active listening, effective communication, and empathy, which helps individuals connect on a deeper level. Additionally, we focus on growing personal skills such as building confidence and self-awareness, and identifying relationship goals. We help individuals learn how to present their authentic selves and improve their ability to find their ideal partner. We also review online-dating safety, importance of consent, and how to set and respect appropriate boundaries.
Social Skills
Social skills training sessions are designed to help participants​​​ enhance their interpersonal abilities and improve communication. Sessions involve role-playing, feedback, and problem solving discussions to help individuals navigate social situations more effectively. Some of the targeted skills include active listening, self-advocacy, conflict resolution, and assertiveness, which can boost confidence and strengthen relationships. We focus on skills across settings including socialization with peers, family dynamics, school/work, and public events or activities. Ultimately, our sessions aim to foster better social interactions and improve overall quality of life.
Coping Skills
Coping skills are strategies that help individuals manage difficult emotions including stress, anger, anxiety, grief, and more. By building effective coping skills, individuals can more easily navigate life's challenges, regulate their emotional and behavioral responses, maintain emotional well-being, improve decision-making, and build healthier relationships with others. We help individuals build their own personal toolbox of coping strategies that work specifically for them. Our goal is to help our clients build their resilience and confidence in navigating challenges, and empower them to face life's ups and downs with a positive mindset.
